Mike had planned on a career as a commercial photographer, following in the footsteps of his father, grandfather, and uncles, who were all successful photographers. But after taking a video production class, he was hooked. He filmed his first wedding video at Harrah's Lake Tahoe on Valentine's Day 1991.

Mike is also a hopeless romantic. He believes in true love—that marriage is a gift from God and that the joy and happiness found in that sacred union can last forever. ‘Happily Ever After’ is more than just a trite Disney ending—more than an impossible dream. After 31 years with his beautiful wife Pam, Mike is living that dream and loving it! That is one reason why he is so passionate about creating epic, unforgettable wedding films.
