Weddings filmed for close relatives are often produced as a labor of love 💕 as this wedding sneak peak trailer was...but it's good to know that if they don't like it you can always give them their money back:) Congratulations to my wonderful nephew David Jensen and his beautiful new bride Ariana Martin who were married recently at the Sacramento LDS Temple in Folsom, CA.

We love traveling out of Sacramento several times a year to film destination weddings. Courtney & Mitchell’s wedding at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort was no exception. Not only was the ocean venue eye candy for our wedding film, but we were honored to capture the wedding of the daughter of a fellow filmmaker- Dennis Kulik. Courtney & Mitchell were so gracious in giving us the time to get some spectacular shots of them walking n the beach.
Some of my favorite shots came as Courtney danced with her guests near the end of the reception. We were ‘off the clock’ for those high energy shots, but often some the best wedding footage we capture happens when we go beyond our contracted time for our couples. Truly, filming wedding day love and laughter has always been so much more than just another ‘gig’ for us.
We began capturing 360 Panoramas for weddings and events back in 2006, inspired by Hans Nyberg's incredible panoramas of the Danish Royal Wedding. Now that Facebook, VIMEO, and YouTube all support 360 VR Panoramas for both still and video, we renewed our passion and excitement for this unique way to capture any environment in a very unique and compelling way. Below is our first wedding panoramic movie, created by our tiny, venerable Xiaomi Mijia Mi Sphere 360 camera. Congrats to our wonderful couple Katie & Randy, who were married at the Blue Sky Terrace in Lake Tahoe, CA!
I love the pageantry and fabulous colors at the Indian Weddings we occasionally film. One of my favorite weddings of 2014 year featured Devin arriving to meet his bride on a horse, surrounded by enthusiastic family and friends.
We have been blessed to have filmed many weddings during the Holiday Season. Merlou and Ryan planned their wedding between Christmas and New Year's- December 28. The Holidays remind us of God's magnificent gifts to each of us, and draw us closer to dear family and friends. Those feelings were certainly in abundance at the wedding of Merlou and Ryan- who were married in Sacramento at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. The Reception was held at the Grand Ballroom.
When my dear friend and talented DJ Michael Anderson of Creative Memories Entertainment let me know that he would be creating a 3 minute snow shower during Celina & Joses's first dance at Arden Hills Resort & Spa, I knew it would be special. Watching Jose sing the words as he held his new bride, and watching Celina's surprise as the snow first began to gently fall made for a truly magical moment in their day. The long-form style of this edit underscores the importance of documentary wedding edits as an important companion to any highlights reel.
One of the few items on my bucket list was to film a bride an groom in a large field of mustard seed. Brian and Christa we good sports, and wandered through the field until we could capture some stunning imagery from our cameras. The Love Story was filmed in the Elverta/Antelope area and at Gibson Ranch. Brian's last minute proposal on the Disney Cruise Ship was memorable.
This was our first wedding trailer edited in the super-wide Cinemascope 2.35:1 aspect ratio. Robyn & Guido were a great match, and we had a wonderful time capturing the events of the day!
